Hi!! We’re Meghan-Rose and Derek, co-founders of Willow and Stone; thanks for being here!

Our path to candle making started in a tiny apartment kitchen, with a double boiler of wax on the stove and a lot of trial and error. Over time, Derek dove into the hobby, researching different types of wax, wick sizes, and Meghan-Rose focused on fragrance blends. We started gifting candles in mason jars to our friends and family, getting feedback and encouragement along the way.

After moving to Hillsboro, VA, we discovered we are surrounded by the most creative people making the most beautiful things! Over time, as we honed our own craft, we decided it was time to officially join the maker community.
